Can't have enough pinkie pies in my book awesome episode and a flippin awesome pic dude...this shall inspire me as I delve deeper into shade work....I can't get over your shading
Well thank you very much! I'm surprised to hear such praise about the shading... I have absolutely no artistic training whatsoever. The only way I've learned anything is through observation. I guess it finally paid off!
No prob dude I get the same for my mechanical work / auto body work (gota put some pics of my motor bikes on here at some point...damn my lack of motivation) ect ect and other things heh, to self teach is awesome stuff You put professional art work to shame on a side note if I may ask ...do you do hand draw first then scan and work it / smooth it into a digital image manipulator program...or just draw right on the computer in a IMP?
Heh, you are too kind. I should say the former - I'm more comfortable sketching out the initial drawing on paper before I scan it for digitizing. I actually did get a higher end tablet earlier this year, but I'm still getting used to making a completely digital artwork from start to finish.
Body work? That'd be tight - I think you should upload it. DA probably has groups for those where you could show off your work to more people. Motivation is hard to come by, that's for sure. But if you did the work, you might as well show it off (Sorry for the late reply - real life slumps really suck)
Coolz, makes sense heh thanks for replying to my artistic curiosity ... I gota get a tablet at some point recommend any decent ones? mouse...so...much...pain As for my rides/rides I've worked on well sort of I guess paint would be considered bodywork good enofe to UL...I even goofed once and accidentally...long story short I painted this battery cover on a honda CM450 all nice with zebra strips for a girl I know and instead of using regular clear coat paint to finish it I used "patio furniture clear coat" ( I still to this day dont know why the heck I bought that can of paint)...It turned out awesome looked all turtle shellish like it wrinkled ...if that makes any sense...Ill take a pic of that for my first one I guess of that...style...of...art heh. Maybe even a pocket bike I molded/built from scratch. *takes deep breath* gawd that was long winded. Again thxs for the reply's dude rock on
